The focus of this webinar is on patent entitlement and ownership. The webinar will address the current position regarding patent entitlement, including by reference to the decision of Merial, Inc v Intervet International B.V. The session will also address common patent ownership issues, particularly co-ownership and provide examples of some of the pitfalls of co-ownership. Finally, the webinar will touch on the PPSR and identify what due diligence steps patent attorneys should consider when dealing with purchase of IP rights.
